1/2 cup
Butter
1 3/4 cup Brown sugar
3/4 cup Sour milk
2 1/4 cup Flour
1 tsp Baking powder
1 tsp Baking soda
1/2 tsp Salt
1 tsp Cinnamon
1/2 tsp Cloves
1/2 tsp Nutmeg
1/2 cup Nuts; opt
Cream butter and sugar well. Combine dry ingredients and add alternately with milk to butter/sugar mixture. Add the
nuts and put in a well greased 8 x 8 inch pan. Bake at
350 for 35 to 40 minutes.
