Pastry Dough - Pie Dough (Trisha1972)
1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
3 T sugar
1 stick butter
2 T Crisco
1/4 t salt
3-4T water
Mix dry ingredients. Blend in softened butter and Crisco using either a pastry
blender or two forks. When it looks like corn meal, add a little water at a
time, just enough to get the dough to start to stick together. Place on surface
and form into a ball, working as little as possible. Cover with cling wrap and
stick in fridge atleast 30 minutes. Roll 1/2 of dough out to fit into bottom of
pie plate.
