Peanut Brittle

1 cup white sugar

½ cup light corn syrup

1/8 tsp salt

1 tbsp butter

1 tsp vanilla

1 tsp baking soda

1 1/4 cup roasted abd salted peanuts

Combine in 2 quart bowl, white sugar, corn syrup and salt.  Microwave on high for 5 minutes.  Add 1 1/4 roasted and salted peanuts. Microwave on high for 5 minutes or until peanuts and syrup are lightly browned.  Stir in 1 tbsp butter, 1 tsp vanilla, and 1 tsp baking soda.  Spread on large buttered bakig sheet to about 1/4 inch thickness.
